My “state of the art” mobile recording equipment can even capture your favorite performer(s) right in your own home, or I can arrange time in any of the fine Chicago area recording studios. Several high quality studio microphones including: Neumann TLM 103, AKG-414, AKG-3000, AKG 1000 and Shure SM-57 & SM-58.
I can simultaneously record up to 16 tracks. Additional equipment is available upon request.
Jim Manfre started playing guitar in a band in 1965 (at age 13) and has been in the music business since 1972. His music industry career included 25 years as an award winning sales and marketing representative at the Warner Bros. Music Group (Warner-Elektra-Atlantic) and 2 years at MCA Records. In 2001 he co-founded and currently manages Proteus Entertainment Inc. and has been credited as Executive Producer on 5 nationally distributed and highly reviewed albums. Jim has taught “Marketing your Music” classes at Harper College in Palatine, IL and has spoken at Elmhurst College.
